Alison Lewis and String of Ponies are the songs of Alison Lewis and her band, String Of Ponies.The Ponies come and go, and sometimes come back again, which keeps the music fresh and always evolving. The one thing that remains every time are the songs written by Alison lewis. She will show up and sing her heart out. You can count on that.

A member of Downriver Detroit’s Inside Outlaws, Matt Dmits has been writing and performing music in the Detroit area and the Midwest for the past ten years. Working as a vocalist, songwriter, and guitar player, he has shared the stage with numerous local and national artists- both as a stand-alone performer of roots-rock-americana, and as an accompanist.

He played on Doop & The Inside Outlaws three albums and Katie Grace’s debut album “Best Bad Girl.”

Dmits recorded his first solo effort with infamous Detroit producer Jim Diamond at his Ghetto Recorders studio and mixed and mastered at Woodshed Studios by Ed Sertage.
The six-song EP, “Bury Me With My Guitar,” was released in May of 2012.It features guest musicians; Ty Stone, Doop Duprie, Katie Grace, Bobby Emmett, Pete Ballard and Vinnie Dombroski. He is currently recording songs for a full-length album due out in 2013.

Dmits continues to collaborate, write, and perform with a hard-working sensibility that matches the area he proudly calls home.
