Karalavara is harsh, wicked, dark and spaced-out. Their music spawned from jamming drop-tuned heavy riffs and watching guns, bosoms and monsters on an old dial TV in their rehearsal space. They listen to Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Motorhead, The Stooges and bond with Electric Wizard, The Brian Jonestown Massacre and Queens of the Stone Age. This melding of music tastes is how Karalavara fell together from members of The Kingsnakes and DirtyLoveBites. They recently unleashed their first single, Supercharging in the Haze, and have been tearing-up bars and clubs with their ferocious, heavy sound.
Midnight Gold is a rock band that started in Royal Oak in 2013. We play alternative rock with a foundation laid by classic rock and roll. Midnight Gold writes original music, and aims to use those songs in part with an enthusiastic live show. We have been playing shows at venues throughout Metro Detroit, and hopefully gaining some recognition along the way. The current line up is Alex DeFrenza (Guitar, Lead Vocals), Jeff Klegon (Guitar, Keyboard, Backup Vocals), Shawn Curran (Bass, Backup Vocals), and Blake Simon (Drums, Percussion).
BearDog is a rock band based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Formed in 2015, the band consists of 4 members; Dylan Tuthill; Guitar/ Vocals, Mike Schweneker; Saxophone, Nick Fontano: Bass/Vocals
and Patrick Baney; Drums/Percussion.
Each member has brought their own styles and influences to the table which has helped this band create a hybrid musical-styling of funk/rock and blues/reggae. The combination of uplifting lyrics, booming drums, groovy bass and sax lines with wailing guitar and key riffs facilitates a sound that is uniquely distinctive and recognizable.
Recently, BearDog has been featured playing with well-known bands such as Stormy Chromer and Desmond Jones.
