The Led Farmers: We try to have a good time with the time we have. We don’t really know what we’re doing half the time. The one thing we know for sure is that the company we share on the stage has created some stories we’ll hold dear for years to come. We also know we don’t want to work within a regimented frame such as office jobs, teaching roles, politics etc. Not that we look down upon people who do. We merely desire change, meeting new people, seeing new landscapes and laughing. Laughing in a way is our mantra. If smiles don’t haunt our time, we feel haunted.

The Codgers formed in southwest Detroit in 2006 and have since played at hole-in-the-wall Irish pubs, rock venues, dinner theatre, a senior citizen’s home, wedding parties, on boats on the Clinton River and Lake St. Clair, and probably on your street corner. Our claim to fame is sparking the first crowd-surfing incident at Mario’s restaurant in Detroit.

Wakefire: A Detroit based band with our roots in Irish music and a questing eye toward a full sound rife with powerful instrumentation and vocal harmony. We seek to revitalize traditional Irish music with a modern approach. We also try to take songs from our favorite television shows and video games and put a full spin on them that makes them our own. Additionally, we play modern Gypsy and American folk with an added heaviness to create a sound unique to us.
