Thirty Men: Two women. A guitar. A saw.

Allye Gaietto‘s songs range from sparse and simple to harmonically and lyrically dense. She has been compared to Norah Jones, and has also been called “Nick Drake on the piano.” Allye writes sometimes eccentric, always thoughtful jazz-influenced pop. Her lyrics have been likened to that of Joni MItchell, wrought with self-aware fragility and occasional social commentary. Her writing has been described as “sad songs that make people smile.”

As a live performer, it feels like Allye is an old friend in your living room. Sometimes lapsing into conversation with the front row or telling mildly tangential stories, the set is a shared experience with performer and listener.
