Telco is a creative Indie/Rock/Pop band from Detroit, MI, initiated and led by Carl Greene. The bands sound comes from a wide gamut of influences drawing anywhere from memorable 80’s new wave pop hooks to high energy punk inspired rock. Building their songs around hook driven melodies, Telco blends spatial synths seamlessly with soulful and at times spidery guitar riffs.
The Blue Velvets are a rock duo from Nashville, TN comprised of Lance Whalen and Colette Cassette. They are Touring the country to promote their new self titled EP. The Rock & Roll sounds they create have been described as ranging from Americana Noir to Voodoobilly. They Live as a married couple on the Cumberland river tending to their pet frogs and refining their own elementary blues.
VEHICLES: Alternative, Rock, Space, Jam. All of these adjectives have been used to describe Vehicles’ sound- they just decided to meld them all together. There are many elements and influences that are all obvious in Vehicles’ sound. One might pick up on elements that recall U2, Echo and the Bunnymen, Interpol, and Mellowdrone- just to scratch the surface. They have been a band in the Midwest for over seven years and play regionally, with multiple tours now under their collective belt. Vehicles’ third release “This Bluebird wants me Dead” was released on Naughty Dog Records in 2014 and is now available for purchase on iTunes, Amazon, and CDbaby, as well as at any live show.
