Virginia Violet & the Rays (Modern Motown)
Trout (Rock)
ISLA (Jazz pop)

Spawned in the spirit of Detroit 1966, Virginia Violet and the Rays are here to bring Motown into to the 21st century with new original music. With a four piece horn section and matching suits, don’t miss the baddest soul band in the land!

New trio TROUT is born in the wooded suburbs of northern Macomb County. Soulful, Bluesy, and loud distorted rock music to catch up where groups like James Gang and The Groundhogs left off. Lead by Pete Geloso on guitar and vocals, Kyle Shelest on the drums, and Karl “Rodeo” Grawbarger on the Bass…hold on to your legs.

ISLA is the musical project of Kameryn Ogden, a Detroit based singer and multi-instrumentalist. Her compositions are generally voice driven soundscapes drawing upon an endless number of influences including jazz, soul, folk, and pop. She possess a natural ability to layer her voice, creating dream like textures beyond that of conventional singer-songwriters. From listening to a wide variety of music and recording, performing and writing with numerous artists , ISLA has gained a musical palette that craves experimentation and creativity. In 2015 she collaborated with Detroit producer Daniel Monk on his debut EP ,”1121″, as a featured vocalist which you can listen to here. She has performed with various groups such as Olivia Mainville & The Aquatic Troupe, Libby DeCamp, Liquid Monk, GFK Trio, and Mega Powers, and has performed at venues including Cliff Bell’s, The Loving Touch, The Blind Pig, Ann Arbor Summer Festival Top of the Park , Holler Fest, Traverse City Film Festival, and many more. ISLA is currently writing and recording her debut EP which will be released in 2017.
